Some of our favorites were the Atlantis submarine, the Turtle Farm, stingray city and Seven Mile Beach on Grand Cayman. Jamaica offers the Dunns River Falls in Ocho Rios, a 900-foot climb to the top of the falls (in the water!). Do not worry, its very easy that children can do. Great fun in the warm tropical days! Not far from Dunns River Falls you can experience the Dolphin Encounter, where you enter the water and actually pet and play with dolphins under the supervision of trainers. Children and adults will enjoy this.

If your interest is in history and ancient culture, the Mayan ruins can not be beat! There are two tours available Cozemel, Mexico: Tulum and Chichén Itzá. Tulum is quite impressive in its place on the beach. While climbing the pyramids is off limits here, the guides are excellent in the presentation of Mayan culture and history. Chichen Itza is on the inside and require a bus ride to get there, making the entire excursion about 8 hours. Worthwhile, however. There are many more than ruins and you can climb the pyramid there. An excellent Mexican buffet is provided by the local hotel. Be careful, some of the food is HOT!
